The good news is that Russ & I have now announced our inaugural tour of Southern England, with venues being confirmed as Microsoft in Reading, & Microsoft in London, (tickets are free just register & enter the date so that they can be collected on the door); and are proud to announce that the guest star of the evening’s festivities will be Eileen Brown, (Eileen Brown’s WebLog), who will also be acting as the hostess of the evenings regalia.
As both the Reading, and London events will be the inaugural User Group Meetings, we’re planning a brief introduction & welcome to the group, Aims, objectives and the potential future agendas. Somewhere in-between Eileen will take the stage and give a brief, but sweet and indepth, presentation on the “Overview of Unified Communications” from the Microsoft point-of-view; and hopefully we’ll have enough time free for a free-forum.

Following on from Arthur's post we're looking forward to our very first meeting to be held at Microsoft Thames Valley Park in Reading. Directions at http://www.microsoft.com/uk/about/map-reading.mspx and we'll be in the Marlow room in building 2.
So we can get a feel for numbers if you intend to come along could you please reply to this post saying words to the effect of you'll be there.
Agenda for our first meeting will be introductions from Arthur and Russell, an overview of the Microsoft UC space by Eileen Brown of Microsoft, followed by an open discussion to discuss what we all want out of the group as users and our thoughts around topics for future meetings.
This is the same agenda and format as the London meeting - except there's a pub close by the London office for those interested :).
