11th & 12th March 2009 - Combined UK User Group Event

For those who have attended previous incarnations of the UK User Group events, you'll understand that the community will offer you real world answers to real world solutions.

On March 11th & 12th the SharePoint User Group, and the Microsoft Messaging & Mobility User Group will be hosting an event that will allow the communities to demonstrate how today's collaboration platforms work closely together.

The event is being held at the Unified Communications Expo 09, (Olympia National Hall), and is set to run over 2 days (agenda below), and will demonstrate Exchange 2007, Office Communications Server 2007, SharePoint 2007 and Office 2007.

It's been awefully quiet around here....

So huge apologies from both Arthur and myself for the lack of activity. Apart from learning lots about OCS which at the time we couldn't reveal, work has taken over and I think the whole community hit a pause between LCS being sable and deployed and waiting for OCS, well the public beta at least, to ship.

My main blog is over at http://russkirk.typepad.com/greyconvergence/ so feel free to subscribe to that feed. In the meantime I'm arranging a new series of events to coincide with the OCS luanch including a device showcase ofthe new telphony handsets and the RoundTable conferencing unit.

We're also thinking about rebuilding the site using the SharePoint Community Kit so anyone with thoughts about what you would like from the site feel free to leave a comment.

Hi, and welcome to the Microsoft Unified Communications User Group, United Kingdom. A slightly long name I know but such is life, at least we avoid being a TLA :).

We'll be posting here occaisonally but our main focus will be the forums. Please subscribe to the RSS feed here and on the forums to keep up to date.

The group is run by on an entirely voluntary basis by Arthur Pounder and myself. Any questions please post or email us directly and I forward to meeting you all at our inaugral meetings.
